Hi! I'm spider_mario, an average scratch user! I built this site to showcase scratch, the griffpatch academy and some of the things I've achieved in it! Here's my scratch story:I began using scratch, must be 4ish years ago now, when I signed up to some Create and Learn online lessons. Once those had finished I had only really learnt the basics from them. After that my dad used scratch to teach me and my siblings about some coding stuff. Soon though scratch fell out of use. I did find griffpatch just before then, and I really enjoyed his games. I came across his youtube channel and although I stopped using scratch for things other than griffpatch tutorials, I kept an eye on his youtube channel. Then, whadda you know, he launches the griffpatch academy. I am one of the founding members of the academy and it has been a brilliant experience for me. From there I went to be featured in three game jams and I was motivated to use scratch more (Although still only for griffpatch tutorials and game jams, lol)
In my free time I like to play video games (Who doesn't?), make edited videos of me playing my video games, play chess, and use the GA! I'm currently playing The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. I wonder if that info is now super outdated, I'll have to try and update this site pretty often. :D
